Another stepping stone towards real-time wireless Industry 4.0
STACKFORCE is pleased to see the approval for a new international, bilateral funded project: “Reliable Time-Sensitive Networks in Distributed Cyber-Physical Systems for Real-Time Control Industry 4.0 Applications. “
Together with Hahn-Schickard Institute of Applied Sciences (Germany), REX Controls and the University of West Bohemia, both from Plzeň (Czech Republic), STACKFORCE will be investigating the capabilities and reliability of using different wireless technologies for industrial real-time applications.
The major technologies to be examined will be cellular communication (Narrowband-IoT, NB-IoT), DECT and DECT/ULE, as well as proprietary protocols.
